General Information about the Department
The marketing sector has a structure that allows it to grow, develop, and renew itself continually. In particular, the digital age has increased the importance of marketing by focusing on production and sales for sustainable growth. Unless a product is saleable, it has no economic value. Only a product that is saleable can be an element of economic income. The economic market needs qualified personnel who can market these products. Therefore, the Marketing Program aims to graduate students with a high level of professional knowledge and skills and who are confident in applying modern marketing approaches to the market.
In the program, students receive theoretical education for three semesters within the scope of the 3+1 framework. In the last semester, students are required to complete workplace training. Workplace training is directed by the vocational school and this process gives students a chance to practice the knowledge and skills they have acquired. In addition to this educational process, students are required to complete 30-workday summer term internship.
