General Information about the Department
The Printmaking Department began its education life in the 2000-2001 academic year. The Program aims to train artists and experts needed by the age in the field of printmaking. With an understanding parallel to contemporary art, Printmaking Department focuses on revealing the creative potential of the individual in the axis of his / her own difference, and in this direction, provides education that requires the nature of art, artistic culture, visual thinking and their comprehension and interpretation freely. In this program, the individual's ability to think freely in the historical context, to create his own unique perspective, to develop interpretation methods and to make contemporary life valuable with his works are prioritized. The Printmaking program offers a contemporary and effective program in its field and ensures that students are trained and competent in terms of intellectual and professional requirements.

Those who successfully graduated from this department; They have the opportunity to work as freelance artist, art consultant, teacher, art director in private and public institutions, academic staff in education and research institutions related to Fine Arts and optional course instructor in universities and colleges.
