Retailing and Store Management
The structure of retailing sector has undergone a significant change in recent years. Traditional small-scale retailing has been replaced by larger-scale service- and customer-centered retailing that is based on technological advancements and open to international markets. Consumers now see retailers as not only vendors of goods and services, but also environments that respond to social and cultural needs. These changes have created important employment opportunities in retailing, and also elevated the quality of human resourced needed in retailing. The objective of Program in Retailing and Store Management is to improve the quality of human resources currently employed in the sector and train qualified human resources to be employed in the sector.
