Department of Physical Education and Sports Master's Program (Without Thesis)

General Information about the Program

Students must take mandatory and elective courses and submit a thesis based on their research. Students can choose their elective courses for the field they want to specialize in. For the Master of Science (M.Sc.) without Thesis, students take courses and prepare graduation projects. After completing courses and graduation project with success, they take a qualification exam against a jury of three experts. Student are usually required approximately two years to complete the Master of Science Degree.

A student who has a master's degree in the Department of Physical Education and Sports; can work with the trainer by making measurements for performance evaluation in sports clubs. She/He can analyze the match in sports clubs. She/He can evaluates statistical data about teams and rival teams in sports clubs. She/He can work as an operator in a sports club or facility. She/He can work in Youth and Sports Provincial Directorates. She/He can work in federations. She/He can work with student with special needs. She/He can also progress towards an academic career and pursue a Phd

Physical education and sports doctoral program offers many opportunities to national and international students. There are two computer labs available to students. There are 11 indoor sports halls open to students' use and a football field with IAAF standards. In addition, many test tools for students' areas of specialization are located in 6 different laboratories. Faculty members have expertise in different subjects and can assist students in different areas.
