Main inner-city transportation is the tram and buses in Eskişehir. Mini busses (dolmus) operate for the other routes.

It is possible to reach your destination by bike, scooter or simply on foot. You may find good quality second-hand bikes around €10 – €20 only.

Domestic Transportation - How to get to Eskişehir?

• How to obtain HES code

HES (Hayat Eve Sığar – Life Fits Into Home) code is a personal code implemented by the Türkiye Ministry of Health and, it is mandatory for all indoor surroundings for Covid -19.

You must fill in a Form to Enter Türkiye to obtain your personal HES code 72 hours before your travel. If you haven’t filled in the form or made misleading statements, you may face legal and administrative sanctions. Furthermore, you might not be allowed to enter Türkiye.

• From Ankara

After landing in Ankara Esenboğa Airport, you may take Belkoair shuttle buses to Ankara Main Bus Terminal (AŞTİ) or Ankara Central Railway Station.

By bus

It takes 3-4 hours from Ankara to Eskişehir by bus. After reaching Eskişehir Bus Station, tram, taxis and shuttle buses during the day, and free private shuttle buses and taxis after midnight are available.

By Train

It takes 1.5 hours from Ankara to Eskişehir by high-speed train.

• From İstanbul

After landing in Istanbul Airport or Sabiha Gökçen Airport, you can reach Eskişehir by bus or by high-speed train. You can take shuttle buses (HAVAŞ) from İstanbul Airport to reach Istanbul Main Bus Terminal (Esenler) or Istanbul Railway Station (Pendik Station).
