Work

Associate and undergraduate degree students are eligible to work after completing their first-year of studies and only for a part-time job while graduate and post-graduate students are eligible to work any time during their studies and for a full-time job.

In order to work, foreign students need to receive a work permit. An application may be filed from within Türkiye or from abroad. If from within Türkiye, a valid residence permit for at least 6 months is required. Otherwise, an application for a work permit may be filed with a Turkish Embassy or Consulate abroad.
