General Information about the Department

The Faculty of Law of Anadolu University, as one of the top law faculties in Turkey, was established in 1993. Private Law Department contains departments of European Union Law, Maritime Law, Intellectual Property Law, Labor and Social Security Law, Civil Law, Civil Procedure and Enforcement Bankruptcy Law, International Private Law, Roman Law, and Commercial Law, whereas the Division of Public Law comprises departments of Constitutional Law, Criminal and Criminal Procedure Law, General Public Law, Philosophy and Sociology of Law, History of Law, Administrative Law, Human Rights Law, Financial Law, International Law. Many compulsory and elective courses offered within these departments contribute to the academic development of our students. In addition, our students can select courses from the departments they want according to the field they want to improve themselves.
