General Information about the Program
The Painting Department Master of Fine Arts Program was established in 1992 within the Institute of Social Sciences. The program has been continuing its education and training at the Institute of Fine Arts since 2008. The aim of the Painting Department Master of Fine Arts Program is to train creative, innovative and expert artists who have academic knowledge and experience in the field of fine arts in line with contemporary and up-to-date knowledge. In the program, artist candidates contribute to the field of art and design culture with the works they produce in accordance with the understanding of contemporary art, as well as their research and scientific activities at the theoretical level.
Career Opportunities
Students who graduate from the program can work as independent artists, academicians and expert researchers in their fields and work in areas that contribute to the culture and art environments of our country and the world. In addition to work as an individual artist, our graduates; can work as academic staff in universities, also in galleries, museums, art and design platforms, institutions that provide art education and in many fields of plastic and visual arts where image and stage designs are made in the cinema sector.
