General Information about the Department 

The Department of Political Science and Public Administration is hosted by the Faculty of Economics, which offers education within the framework of open and distance education system of Anadolu University. The department offers a four-year program at the undergraduate level.

The Political Science and Public Administration Department offers a rich content of theoretical and current debates on political science and public administration.

The aim of the Political Science and Public Administration Undergraduate Program is to enable students to acquire basic theoretical and applied knowledge on political, administrative, social and legal affairs. Besides, the program aims to provide knowledge and experience to students to follow the developments in the field of politics and public administration and to systemically analyze and offer solutions to public problems. The program also aims to train qualified executive candidates to be employed in public, private and third sector organizations and contribute to their professional development in their working life with the vision of lifelong learning.

Our graduates will have wide job opportunities in the public, private and third sector. They will have the opportunity to find jobs in various ministries as inspectors, auditors and specialist assistants. In addition to state and privately owned banks, they can be employed by the local administrations, business corporations and non-governmental organizations.
